The Schooners wrap up their two-game road trip on Sunday, June 14 in Bristol.

The Blues handed Mystic their first loss of the season, a 12-1 defeat at the Shipyard. The Blues hit around the Schooners’ pitching staff, knocking 11 hits when the teams last faced off.

Mystic is coming off a 10-1 win over Ocean State. In the win, Mike Poncini (Georgetown) tossed four scoreless frames, allowing just one hit and two walks. Mystic’s pitching staff allowed just three hits on the night.

Casey Wensley (Bryant) is fresh off a three-hit game and in his 2026 NECBL debut, Anthony Belisario (Portal) came up big for the Schooners tallying three RBI.

The Blues are in the middle of a five-game skid after opening the season with three straight wins. Bristol fell 12-5 to Vermont on Saturday night. Steve Polizzi (St. Peter’s) recorded the only multi-hit night for the Blues.

First pitch from Muzzy Field is set for 5 pm.
